Product description
Exceptional, slender vintage chest of drawers by Victoria Baar in Mid-Century Modern style with a particularly graphic and elegant design language. The contrast between the dark frame and the cream-white fronts gives the piece of furniture a timeless, almost architectural character. The chest of drawers has five drawers of different heights, which are flush-integrated into the frame. Their generously rounded corners pick up the soft radii of the body and form a beautiful counterpoint to the rectilinear construction. Small, centrally placed metal knobs emphasize the minimalist design. Particularly striking is the continuous dark wooden frame, which visually encloses the light body and seamlessly transitions into four slender legs at the bottom. The side surfaces are also designed with large cream-colored panels and dark borders. This makes the tall, narrow chest of drawers appear exceptionally light and elegant despite its generous storage space. Condition: Good used vintage condition with age- and use-related patina. Smaller scratches, abrasions, and signs of wear are visible on the dark frame, especially on the upper edges. The light fronts are generally beautiful and well-maintained.
