This hand-woven oriental Hamadan rug was made in Iran during the 1960s. Traditionally woven flat and dyed using naturally derived dyes, the rug features an original pattern inspired by the traditional rugs of the Fars or Lori regions. Its vibrant colors—dominant shades of red, navy blue, orange, and white—delight the eye. The rich geometric composition with leaf and rosette motifs makes it unique and eye-catching. Hamadan rugs are traditionally hand-woven rugs from the Hamadan region in western Iran.
