This large-format ceramic fish is a wonderful example of Austrian mid-century folk art. The piece features a sculptural form with the traditional, hand-painted green and red decoration ("flamed" style / "Tupferl" decor) on a white glaze. It serves perfectly as a decorative object on a sideboard, shelf, or as a classic piggy bank.
