Private sellerProduct description
Beautiful and iconic vintage Space Age "eyeball" pendant lamp by the well-known Dutch lighting brand GEPO (Gebroeders Postma), dating from the 1960s / 1970s. An absolute eye-catcher for lovers of mid-century modern design!
This design classic features a striking, bright orange metal sphere that is fully 360-degree rotatable within the sleek, chrome-plated steel frame. This allows you to easily and atmospherically direct the light wherever you want (for example, directly onto the dining table or as a spot on the wall). The underside of the frame is equipped with a characteristic orange handle.
The lamp is equipped with the original, smoothly operating pull-pendulum mechanism (rise & fall), making it very easy to adjust in height
Condition:
In good, authentic vintage condition. The chrome still shines beautifully and the pull mechanism works excellently. The orange lacquer has a beautiful sheen, with some light, superficial scratches here and there that are consistent with the age and use of the lamp (see photos). No deep dents or major damage. An honest and atmospheric piece of Dutch Design!
