A beautiful, unique sofa for sale! This is the 'Capri' model, designed by the famous Danish designer Johannes Andersen. The sofa was put into production by Trensum Möbelfabrik in the late 1950s. The sofa has a very robust design with large, sturdy armrests. It is also immediately noticeable that the sofa is made in a 'boomerang' shape, and thus runs somewhat round. The sturdy chrome legs contribute to the robust appearance of the design. The sofa is very large and therefore suitable for four people. The sofa is in good vintage condition and has been partly re-upholstered. It was decided to retain the original leather. The backrests and seats have been re-upholstered with 100% pure wool fabric from Danish Art Weaving. This gives the sofa a wonderful, soft look and immediately invites you to sit down. The leather is original, so there are signs of wear, such as a scratch on an armrest. In addition to the upholstery, the webbing and filling have also been renewed. All in all, this is an extremely rare sofa with a very beautiful design. Dimensions: Width: 270 cm. Depth: 90 cm. Height: 60 cm. Seat height: 42 cm.
