Large coffee table produced in Italy between the 1950s and 1960s.The peculiarity of this table lies in its 136 cm long polychrome copper top.The three-dimensionality of the abstract design is achieved by the overhang technique, which makes the black lines seem to scratch the surface of the copper, while the vividness of the colors is given by the fire enamel technique. The top, tightened by a mahogany wood frame that recalls the lower crossbar of the table, is supported by massive iron legs with brass feet adjustable in height. The wooden parts have been fully restored, the brass feet polished. The iron feet have been treated with a specific product that preserves and protects the patina of time.
