Special vintage office chair, presumably from the 1960s, completely refurbished and reupholstered by me. The chair has an elegant chrome-plated frame with a four-star base and black armrests. Both the seat and backrest are fitted with new foam and reupholstered in a soft chenille in a warm ocher yellow/beige shade. The upholstery fabric is 100% polyester and has a very high Martindale of 120,000, making the fabric very durable and suitable for intensive use. The metal frame has been thoroughly cleaned and existing rust has been removed as much as possible. The chair is swivel and height-adjustable by turning. The exact manufacturer and model have unfortunately not been determined. Given its design and construction, the chair presumably dates from the 1960s. Condition This is a vintage chair and the frame shows signs of wear appropriate for its age. Rust is still present on the inner part of the height adjustment rod and the chrome layer is locally damaged. This part becomes visible when the chair is set higher. This is also clearly shown in one of the photos.
