A beautiful and characterful handmade ceramic bowl with handle (caquelon or poêlon), signed on the bottom by the maker Jurina. This object is a beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern pottery from the 50s/60s and is strongly inspired by the brutalist style and the so-called Art Pariétal (prehistoric cave drawings). The inside features a refined, primitive decoration of two graceful deer, giving the object a unique and historical appearance. Thanks to the rustic, mottled texture on the outside and the contrasting light glaze on the inside, this object is both a functional design piece and a beautiful sculptural object.
