This is a vintage ceramic candle holder, designed by the Belgian ceramist Hubert Bequet. The piece is a characteristic example of the Art Deco period, distinguished by its flowing, organic forms and vibrant color scheme. From the 1930s-40s. The candle holder is made of glazed ceramic and accommodates two candles. The design is characterized by a dynamic, undulating silhouette reminiscent of stylized plants or waves. The palette consists of various shades of green, ranging from mint green to deeper olive green, accented with golden-brown details that add depth and texture. The glossy finish emphasizes the complex shape and the rich colors of the drip glaze, a technique popular in Bequet's work. The object is in very good vintage condition, retaining its original luster and without visible major damage. The slight irregularities in the glaze are inherent to the artisanal production process and contribute to the unique character of the piece. The bottom shows the hollow construction typical of this type of ceramic. 24 cm long 6.5 cm deep 14.5 cm high
