Great and rare Singer Simanco Ribbonaire Model 6-1 fan in brown (burgundy) bakelite.Designed by W. O. Langille in 1931 for the Singer Sewing Machine Co U.S.A. NEW YORK.All bakelite with adjustable arm, soft brown cotton ribbon fins.2-speed motor.Very good condition and working order, sends 10 feet of cooling airflow. A copy of this versatile fan can be found in the permanent design collection of the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York.Attention Original American fan so 110 Volt, works perfectly with a conventional transformer.
