Large vase H 14,5 W 17,5 D 6 2,4 Small vase H 19 W 6 D 6 Bowl H 3.5 W 17 D 17 Nils Thorsson (1898-1975) first appeared as an artist when he exhibited a series of vases in 1925 (the Autumn Series) which were awarded a gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition. From 1930 he became artistic director of the Aluminia factory and from 1949 he had the artistic supervision of the stoneware department of the Royal Porcelain Factory in Copenhagen.
