This is a fantastic design. VEB Metalldrücker Halle produced beautiful lamps in the 1950s and 1960s. Extremely well-designed. They also designed and built many lamps for the Danish manufacturers that are so sought-after today. A wonderful reminder of the former GDR era, which already boasted progressive designers back then.
