A unique piece signed by Patrick Lepage (1949-2015), a major French master glass artist and founder of the Amboise Art Glassworks.
Made of solid, multi-layered blown glass, weighing 3.830 kg. This exceptional density testifies to a remarkable technical feat in the cooling process.
The decoration features inclusions of pigments "in suspension" (azure blue, solar yellow, opaline white), creating a spectacular magnifying effect beneath its thick mass.
Dated 1994, it dates from his most creative and technically proficient period.
The signature is engraved at the base: "Patrick Lepage 1994".
Unlike the artist's lighter pieces, this "sculptural" vase is distinguished by its mass and the complexity of its internal decoration, making it a highly prized gallery piece for collectors of contemporary glass. Very good condition
