Superb Art-Deco vase, handmade, highly decorative. Alphonse Cytère (1861-1941) was a French ceramist famous for developing the "flamed stoneware" technique in Rambervillers. He collaborated with the École de Nancy, producing glazed stoneware pieces with iridescent reflections, characterized by colors ranging from green to violet. His technical innovation and refined aesthetics left their mark on French ceramics of the late XIXᵉ and early XXᵉ centuries. His work is still recognized and preserved in prestigious museums.
