Authentic Crystal Soliflore Vase from the prestigious Belgian manufacture Val Saint Lambert. Splendid Mid-Century Modern style piece (1950s - 1960s) in blown crystal of pink/fuchsia color. The vase features a superb work of twisted optical ribs in a spiral on the bulb and the neck, resting elegantly on a circular douche foot in clear crystal. The original gold leaf shield-shaped label ("VAL ST LAMBERT - BELGIUM DEPOSE") is still present and perfectly preserved on the foot. Characteristics: Manufacture: Val Saint Lambert (Belgium) Period: Vintage (Circa 1950/1960) Material: High quality lead crystal Design : Twisted optical ribs and douche foot Height : 18 cm Color : Tinted pink and clear crystal Condition : The crystal body and the base are in very good general condition. The golden label is superb. Note for collectors: presence of a small fleabite (popped air bubble or slight scratch from use) on the inner edge of the neck of the upper lip (clearly visible on the close-up photos). This in no way alters the general aesthetics of this magnificent piece when it is displayed. Shipping and Delivery:Fast and extremely careful shipping. The vase will be protected by several layers of bubble wrap and wedged in a rigid cardboard box to guarantee safe transport.
