A beautiful and unique piece of contemporary Belgian art ceramics. This handmade wall ornament (art tile) has an organically shaped white clay base. Centrally, a delicate, expressionistic portrait of a woman in half profile is painted, executed in soft pastel shades and subtle red contour lines. The object is subtly marked to the left of the portrait, presumably with the artist's initials (LT). The back shows the raw, artisanal character of the clay and is equipped with a sturdy, integrated hanging system. An extremely elegant and poetic art object that immediately adds a high-end, gallery-like atmosphere to a modern, design or eclectic interior. A magnificent piece!
