Sapele mahogany Ulvö sideboard by Erik Wørts for Ikea, 1960s. It was produced in Poland by Czerska Fabryka Mebli, most likely for the Polish market. In fact, in the 1960s Ikea transferred part of its production to Polish factories that produced very high quality furniture while the production cost was much lower than that of Sweden or other Western European countries. The sideboard has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings and stains and refinishing it with varnish.
