Monumental and highly sophisticated suspension lantern executed in the highest tradition of Venetian glassmaking. The Glass: The urn-shaped ovoid diffuser is crafted from a flawless double-layered Filigrana A Reticello (mesh filigree). The technique showcases mathematical precision, resulting in a perfect grid pattern containing symmetrical, encapsulated air bubbles (bollicine) at each intersection. This geometric execution represents the pinnacle of furnace technical mastery from the interwar period. The Framework: The glass body is encased in a monumental, custom-tailored brass shield cage adorned with mirrored scrollwork (volute), connecting seamlessly to a rigid central stem and ending in an elegant, inverted funnel-shaped ceiling rose.
