Product description
This is an authentic vintage wall system, designed by Adriaan Dekker for the Dutch manufacturer Tomado. The modular design is an icon of Dutch Design and is known for its minimalist aesthetic and functional flexibility. The system consists of three white lacquered metal wall supports and five metal shelves, executed in two vibrant colors: two in orange and three in blue. The total width of the arrangement is 140 cm, with a maximum height of 69 cm and a depth of 21 cm. The shelves are marked with 'Tomado-Holland', which confirms their authenticity and refers to the production period in the mid-20th century. - 3 long, blue shelves of 69 cm x 19.5 cm - 2 long orange shelves of 69 cm x 19.5 cm - 2 large white supports of 69 cm x 20 cm - 1 small white support of 44 cm x 20 cm - This item is 60 - 70 years old and a utilitarian object. Although the item is in good vintage condition, there are always traces of age; small discolorations, rust spots or scratches in the paint. I have tried to capture this in the last photos. The shelving unit is in good, vintage condition commensurate with its age and use. The original lacquer shows a characteristic patina that contributes to the object's historical appearance. The construction is solid and all parts are original. Thanks to its light and open design, this wall system fits perfectly into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to contemporary.
