"The Crane Tango by Moonlight"
In the silence of the moonlight, two cranes perform a timeless dance—a serene choreography of elegance, balance, and connection. Against a deep dark background, their white forms seem to float between movement and stillness, earth and sky.
Cranes carry rich symbolism in many cultures. They symbolize happiness, faithful harmony, and a long life. In Eastern traditions, cranes are often seen as spiritual messengers and as embodiments of peace and eternal connection. In this work, their dance-like movements reinforce the sense of ritual, serenity, and timelessness.
Every line in this work was hand-cut into linoleum with utmost precision. The processed linoleum plate thereby forms the final artwork itself—not merely a printing plate, but a unique object in which every incision reveals the direct movement of the artist's hand. The plate was carefully finished with high-quality relief printing inks, bringing texture, rhythm, and contrast to life. The artwork features a protective coating layer and is finished in a hardwood frame, bringing together craftsmanship, material, and poetry in a single serene whole.
