This piece of craftsmanship is a mid-20th century interpretation of 'The Lacemaker', the famous painting by the Dutch master Johannes Vermeer. Made on a wooden panel, this unique piece combines the technique of pyrography and painting to recreate the iconic scene with distinct texture and warmth. The panel, measuring 51 cm in height by 40 cm in width, highlights the artisan's skill. The contours are engraved into the wood using a hot iron, while the colors are applied in such a way as to let the natural wood grain show through, adding depth and character to the composition.
