Vintage Space Age “Rocket” Table Lamp – 1970s (Pokrok Žilina Style)
Bring the ultimate retro atmosphere into your home with this beautiful vintage Space Age “Rocket” table lamp from the 1970s. This iconic design (often attributed to the Czechoslovak manufacturer Pokrok Žilina) is an absolute eye-catcher in any vintage, mid-century modern or eclectic interior.
The lamp consists of a bright orange, geometric base in the shape of a rocket, topped with a loose, spherical shade of clear textured “crackle” glass (ice effect). The glass refracts the light in a fantastic, atmospheric way, creating a beautiful play of light on the wall.
