This table lamp was designed by Carlo Nason and produced by Mazzega, in Italy, during the 1970's. This beautiful table lamp is made of red and white opaline glass and is finished with chrome details. The lamp consists of two mouth-blown and hand-shaped Murano glass elements that are connected by a chrome ring. A warm and pleasant light shines through both parts of the glass. Beautiful visual impact also when the light is off. Moreover, this authentic 60s lamp provides a soft and warm lighting.
This lamp has been dismantled, cleaned and has the original wiring, plug and switcher in working condition. Overall in good vintage condition, with some marks on the chrome. The glass has no chips or cracks.
About the designer:
Carlo Nason was born in 1935 and comes from one of the oldest families of Murano glassmakers. Nason is a very famous Italian designer and is considered an icon of Murano glass. His designs are recognized as original and of high quality. Throughout his career, Carlo Nason has worked for renowned companies such as Vetreria Vistosi, De Majo and Leucos. From the late 1970s he has been working for Mazzega to further develop his collection.
