Swedish bench in solid pine designed by Nils Troed in the 1960s. This bench is quite rare and was manufactured by Glas Mäster from Markaryd. The furniture features a simple design that strongly highlights the natural character of the wood. This aligns with the philosophy of the more robust Swedish design of the 1960s: functional, honest, and entirely focused on the material itself. The bench is in very beautiful condition without defects. There are only a few light scratches and two small round spots that are not very noticeable (see photo). The original manufacturer's sticker is still present on the bottom. The piece of furniture is a beautiful, authentic piece of Swedish vintage design with a warm, natural appearance and a lovely patina. Nils Troed is best known for his designs for Glasmäster, including the characteristic pine mirrors from the 1950s and 1960s. Furniture by Troed for Glasmäster is found on the market considerably less frequently.
