This pair of Murano glass diffusers dates back to the Italian design period of the 1960s and 1970s. Their style is attributable to the innovative creations of manufacturers like Mazzega or Nason, who defined the aesthetic of Space Age Lighting. Made of blown glass, these pieces feature a characteristic 'spot' decoration. Inclusions of opaque white glass, similar to pebbles, are suspended within a layer of transparent glass, creating a three-dimensional effect of great visual impact. The organic shape, composed of two superimposed spheres, is typical of the design of the period and designed to diffuse light softly and suggestively.
