Czech blanket storage unit – Bohumil Landsman & Hubert Nepožitek
Elegant vintage storage unit from former Czechoslovakia, attributed to the designer duo Bohumil Landsman and Hubert Nepožitek.
Dating from the 1960s-1970s, this piece stands out for its understated and particularly elegant lines, typical of Czechoslovak furniture from this period. Its wooden facade in warm tones features a large drop-down front, providing generous storage space ideal for blankets, linens, throws, or clothing.
Particularly appreciated are its tapered splayed legs, balanced proportions, and the discreet integrated handle at the top, which highlights the minimalist character of the whole.
A piece that is both functional and decorative, representative of Czechoslovak furniture design from the second half of the 20th century. It will easily find its place in a bedroom, living room, or a collector's interior.
