Product description
A complete reading corner in orange: the Tok armchair with footstool by Stokke/Varier, designed by Toshiyuki Kita, with the matching Servomuto side table by Zanotta available for an additional charge.
Toshiyuki Kita, the Japanese designer of the Wink armchair for Cassina (MoMA collection), designed the Tok for the Norwegian Stokke, which launched it in 2005. Japanese tranquility and Scandinavian craftsmanship in one chair.
The Tok works on the balance principle. The entire seat shell smoothly tilts with your body and the chair rotates 360 degrees. You sit relaxed yet remain in motion. The footstool also rotates.
Original, orange leather on shells of dark brown laminated wood
Wooden cross base, footstool on round wooden base
Armchair approx. W 74 × D 74 × H 103 cm, seat height approx. 43 cm
Footstool approx. W 40 × D 60 × H 44 cm
Good condition, leather supple and well-maintained, some creases as visible in the photo. The wood has some damage to the edges, this is minimal and can possibly be restored.
The price is only for the armchair and the footstool.
Optionally available for separate purchase:
Servomuto side table
Designed by Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta, 1974. A classic of Italian design: using the handle on top, you can carry it with one hand to wherever you need it. Orange laminate top, black rod and base, original with Zanotta label. Ø 50 cm, top at 50 cm height, total height 86 cm.
