Product description
Special Space Age desk lamp by STC, produced in Hong Kong in the 1970s. The lamp is clearly marked on the bottom with the STC logo and Made in Hong Kong.
The design is wonderfully typical of the period. A cream-colored plastic base, flexible chrome-plated arm, and a rounded white shade with a dark red accent ring. The striking shade has an opening at the bottom, directing the light onto the work surface.
With the flexible arm, the lamp can be easily positioned in different directions. The original rotary switch is located on the base.
The lamp is in neat vintage condition and fully functional. Some small signs of wear and paint damage are visible on the shade, consistent with its age.
