Double signature on the side of the base and on the top: Marotta Original & 1969 Here is an antique representation of a gladiator from the Roman arena. Perhaps a Thracian or Samnite caught in a retiarius' net. Solid model in hard plaster? Appears to be mixed with marble or granite powder. Height - 32 cm Length - 39 cm Depth - 16 cm Net Weight - Approximately 7 kg
