Product description
Beautiful and elegant "Springfontein" designed by Bertrand Balas for RAAK Holland in 1975.
This lamp is rarely found in the bright white color like this one; presumably a later version, the design dates from the 1960s.
Diffuse light in the center and bright light downwards. A central chrome reflector ensures a better lighting result.
Excellent condition, no signs of use.
The design team at Raak, Amsterdam, which includes Nanny Still, Maija-Liisa Komulainen, and Frank Ligtelijn, has always been known for its high-quality designs. Raak was founded in 1954 by Carel O. Lockhorn and is one of the most important Dutch lighting manufacturers of the 20th century.
