Product description
RARE MASSIVE SPIRAL MOON TABLE LAMP WITH ADJUSTABLE LIGHT EFFECT (1980s)
This striking table lamp is a true sculptural piece, reminiscent of the work of French lighting designer Henri Mathieu, known for his intricately layered designs and vivid interior finishes. Likely produced by Massive in the 1980s, the lamp features a vibrant orange interior that casts a warm, mesmerizing glow when lit.
Constructed from regular steel with interlocking aluminum strips, the lamp allows for adjustable light dispersion, enabling a unique and customizable lighting effect.
Its spiral form and dynamic lighting make it a standout piece in any space—part art object, part atmospheric light.
The surface shows minor imperfections typical of the material—such as small scratches —which do not detract from its bold visual appeal. Despite these signs of age, the lamp remains in very good condition and stands as a rare example of functional, sculptural design.
