Vintage design floor lamp called 'Spider' designed by Joe Colombo in 1965.
The shade of this lamp is height adjustable and can be tilted using a plastic hinge.
The special Hammerhead lamp is included in the price. This is a new energy-efficient LED version worth €40.
In 1967, Spider was awarded the Compasso d'Oro. It is part of the permanent collections of the Milan Triennial, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Düsseldorf Art Museum and the "Neue Sammlung" Museum in Munich. In 1972 it was featured in the "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" exhibition in New York.
The lamp has some signs of use to the lacquer paint on the base but is otherwise in very nice vintage condition.
