About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This Space Age coffee table presents a striking circular silhouette characteristic of 1970s design. The piece features a distinctive two-tier construction, combining a solid, sculptural base with a transparent top surface. The table is constructed with a white, moulded base that incorporates a recessed lower tier, creating a dynamic sense of depth. A circular, smoked glass top rests above, providing a sleek contrast to the opaque base. The design allows for display or storage within the recessed area, visible through the tinted glass. The combination of materials and the geometric form are hallmarks of the Space Age aesthetic. The piece remains in fully functional condition, retaining its original structural integrity. The white finish and smoked glass maintain their intended visual impact, reflecting the character of its era. This coffee table serves as a strong focal point in a living space. Its bold form pairs well with both vintage and contemporary interiors, particularly those embracing retro or eclectic styling. Slight signs of use on the base but can be painted.
