Pendant lamp produced by Vistosi on the island of Murano, Italy, during the 1970s. The fixture features a large, dome-shaped outer shade of translucent orange glass, showcasing the clean lines of mid-century Italian glasswork. Nested internally is an integrated milk white opaline glass core that tapers upward through a heavy brushed aluminum collar hardware assembly. When illuminated, the opaque inner core acts as a primary diffuser, softening direct glare and casting a warm, layered amber glow through the vibrant outer dome. Under the innovative mid-century leadership of the Vistosi family, the renowned Murano forge combined century-old Venetian glassmaking expertise with the sculptural, geometric forms defining the Space Age design era. Suited for suspension above a dining table, kitchen island, or reading lounge arrangement. Excellent. The hand-blown glass components are free of chips, cracks, or deep scratches.
