Original Vintage Souplex Pram (1950s/60s) - Beautiful Decorative Object!
For lovers of vintage, antique toys or a 'shabby chic' interior: an original, characteristic pram from the well-known Belgian quality brand Souplex (produced in Deinze) from the 1950s or 60s.
The pram features beautiful, authentic details that testify to its rich history:
• The original red diamond-shaped Souplex transfer logo on the side of the bassinet.
• The nostalgic, two-tone dealer sign of the famous specialty store "Le Papillon / De Vlinder" (Ets. Verdoodt & Cie S.A.) from Basiliekstraat in Halle, including the old historical telephone number.
• The typical mid-century metal frame with the characteristic double wheels.
Dimensions:
Length of 80 cm
Width of 33 cm
Height at push bar of 85 cm
Height at edge of 31.5 cm
Condition of the object:
The metal bassinet and frame are in a robust, weathered condition with a beautiful patina. The fabric hood has suffered considerable wear and tear over time and needs to be repaired or replaced by the buyer (or can possibly be removed entirely).
Due to this weathered look, the pram is ideally suited as a nostalgic decorative object in a living room, shop window, or for example as a unique planter on a veranda!
Delivery:
Due to its size and fragility, this listing is for pick-up only
