SIJBRANDA - SEALINES - JONATHAN SEAGULL
I draw inspiration from contact with the elements of earth, water and wind and the horizon.
The horizon: an imaginary line between water and air, between earth and sky, separation of elements, end of a perspective.
There I am, face to face with that unfathomable perspective.
From that view I take photographs and transform them into an abstract play of lines.
Thus is created the Sealines collection: abstracted seascapes, distinguished by a subtle color palette, a large perspective, and a mystical atmosphere.
I exhibit in the Netherlands in Rotterdam, Ouddorp, Hoek van Holland, Vlaardingen, Maassluis, among other places.
Sealines are included in private collections.
Technique: photography and image processing.
Print on dibond.
