Siesta lounge chair — Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, Norway, 1965. Sled-style frame in black lacquered bentwood. Tufted cushion in beige natural leather — soft, generous, made for sinking into. Its name says it all — Siesta. Ingmar Relling designed it in 1965 with a single ambition: that you would never want to get up from it. The bentwood sled-style frame flexes naturally under the body. No mechanism, no adjustments. Just physics, and Norwegian common sense. Deliberate patina of age. In very good condition. PS: I have a second identical chair. Feel free to ask for more photos.
