Kokeshi craft is an ancient Japanese tradition.
It started around 1800 as a simple doll for every child. Every province in Japen has its own shape and/or painting.
These hand-turned traditional Kokeshi date from around 1960-1970 and are signed at the bottom by the maker. In excellent condition considering their age.
Dimensions are from large to small;

All dolls are signed by the maker, either at the bottom or at the back of the doll.
Given its age in very nice condition, of course the paint and wood has discolored a bit over the years. Which in my opinion only gives extra charm.
