Beautiful pair of handmade leather animal sculptures: a hippopotamus and a rhinoceros. These unique pieces are crafted in the style of the famous Omersa leather animals sold at the time through Liberty of London in the 1960s-80s. The sculptures are made of genuine leather with a beautiful natural patina and show characterful details. Although they are not original Omersa pieces (confirmed by Omersa Ltd.), they clearly follow the same style and craftsmanship. - Genuine leather with beautifully aged finish - Handmade in Mid - Century style - Decorative and sturdy, perfect as eye-catchers Dimensions (approx.): - Hippo: 30 x 20 cm - Rhinoceros: 35 x 20 cm Condition: Very good vintage condition, with some signs of age that add to its character.
