Product description
We are pleased to present a splendid set of six antique Italian chairs from the Charles X period, dating back to the first half of the 19th century. These chairs feature a solid walnut frame, embodying the elegance of this historic era.
The backrest boasts a unique design with a heart-shaped shape. The walnut is finely inlaid, representing a high level of cabinetmaking. The small, classic-style decoration is created using small pieces of light-colored wood (maple) inserted into the walnut. The result of this elaborate inlay is truly a work of art that creates an elegant visual accent. The padded seat ensures maximum comfort, making these chairs a perfect addition to any setting. The front legs are finely turned, while the rear legs have a classic saber shape.
The chairs are in excellent wood condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with their age. The upholstery is in good condition. The current light brown fabric is deteriorated with several stains; replacement with new fabric is recommended.
