About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Stunning set of four vintage chairs produced in the 1970s by the renowned German manufacturer Wilkhahn, celebrated for the excellence and durability of its design.
This is the iconic 231/5 model, distinguished by its distinctly 'Space Age' aesthetic and clean lines. Each chair features a robust black back shell, supporting a seat and back upholstered in the original, beautiful textured fabric in a vibrant and luminous orange.
The chairs rest on an elegant five-star base in solid cast aluminum, topped with a black tubular stem.
Extremely comfortable, these timeless chairs will add a touch of sophisticated pop of color to a contemporary dining room or workspace.
Dimensions: H82 × W63 × D50 cm
Key features:
Authenticity guaranteed: Original label and Wilkhahn logo stamped under the seats.
Heavy and ultra-stable aluminum base.
Vintage heathered orange fabric creates a beautiful effect.
Condition details: This set is in very good overall condition. The orange fabric is clean, taut, and has retained all its vibrancy. The black shells are in good condition. As this is vintage furniture, there are some scratches from use and a natural patina on the metal of the star-shaped bases (clearly visible in the detail photos), which attests to their authenticity without compromising their sturdiness or aesthetic appeal.
