Castelli PerettiAmbasz Chair Quartet. Grey black green mottled wool upholstery. Black structure. Stackable. Adjustable in line. Fabric in very good condition. 5 chairs available. Some scratches on the structure, due to use, but not significant. The Vertebra chair was designed by Emilio Ambasz and Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in 1976. A rare example of ergonomic seating solution. The first automatically adjustable office chair, designed to respond and adapt to the user's body movements. The vertebra system slides the seat and tilts the back of the chair with a simple push of the back providing maximum comfort. 1977 id award for excellence of design. 1979 Smau industrial design award. 1981 Compasso d'Oro award. Very nice blue-essence chairs, they can be used as office or dining chairs, in a vintage, classic or modern space. Very good condition, traces of use, some small discreet marks.
