Product description
Special set of four German armchairs from 1974, produced by Röder & Söhne and attributed to designer Miller Borgsen. The design combines a slender metal frame with generously shaped, fully upholstered seats, backrests, and armrests. The construction of the frame is particularly characteristic: the slim legs extend into the armrests and enclose the seat, while the cast metal element under the seat provides a distinct technical detail. The original warm ocher-orange upholstery gives the chairs a distinct 1970s character. The tufted backrests and seats soften the sleek metal frame, making the chairs both sculptural and comfortable. The four chairs are in neat original vintage condition. The upholstery is still very tidy and free from damage or stains. Slight discoloration is visible in places on the armrests. The metal frame shows signs of wear and a light patina, consistent with age and use, without detracting from the set's appearance. Dimensions are as follows: height 85 cm, width 67 cm, depth 62 cm. Seat height 47 cm. Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
