Product description
Magnificent set of four original Cesca chairs designed by Marcel Breuer for Gavina in the 1960s. A design icon, these beautiful chairs feature a chromed tubular steel frame supporting a wooden seat and backrest upholstered in hand-woven cane. The chair is named Cesca in homage to Marcel Breuer's daughter, Francesca. This set is in very good vintage condition. It retains its original caning, which has never been replaced. While it may show some wear in places, it is otherwise undamaged and in good working order. The steel frames show some traces of rust, visible in the photos. Three of the four chairs bear the Gavina sticker, attesting to the authenticity of this set.
