Special set of two original Raak “Step by Step” lamps (type P-1303), a characteristic design from the 70s/80s by the Dutch design brand Raak Amsterdam.
The name “Step by Step” refers to the layered structure of the glass: the shade is subtly constructed in a stepped shape, where the opaline glass narrows towards the inside. This creates a beautiful diffused light and a calm, architectural effect.
The combination of matte white glass with a minimalist metal base fits perfectly within both mid-century and modernist interiors. As is often the case with Raak, the integration of light and architecture is central here as well.
These lamps can be used as both wall and ceiling lamps and are ideal as a series – for example, in a hallway, stairwell, or as a subtle eye-catcher in a minimalist interior. Features:
