Magnificent and rare nomadic decorative set, passionately composed piece by piece, originating from the Tuareg region in Niger.
This exceptional set combines the art of traditional leatherwork and woodworking. Each piece is covered in finely embossed, chiselled, and time-patinated leather, featuring traditional geometric patterns rich in symbols.
Unlike mass-produced items, this set brings together carefully sourced objects whose patinas and mahogany/earth tones perfectly match, creating a visual ensemble of rare harmony.
The set includes:
* 1 Large octagonal tray (45 x 35 cm) with superb sculpted handles and a sumptuously decorated bottom. Ideal for display on a coffee table, a sideboard, or mounted on the wall.
* 3 Assorted boxes/caskets with complementary shapes (one round box with its knobbed lid, one oval box with chiselled patterns, and one small cylindrical box).
