Product description
Portuguese earthenware in the shape of cabbage leaves — often called “cabbageware” — is an iconic ceramic style that became famous in the 19th century thanks to designer Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro.
This vintage bowl from the 1950s–60s was made by the Portuguese ceramic studio Secla.
Majolica, earthenware, hand-painted.
It is a beautiful piece: a serving plate featuring a small bowl with a lid in the center.
The color is vibrant, the details are incredibly attractive — a unique piece of history on your (party) table.
Functional and decorative, and combines beautifully with both a maximalist and a minimalist style.
