Elegant Bavarian porcelain milk jug signed Schumann Arzberg, a German manufacturer established in Arzberg and renowned for its table porcelain with refined shapes and decorations readily drawing from the great European classical repertoire. Made around , this piece bears on its base the crowned crest mark characteristic of Schumann Arzberg for this period. The shape is particularly graceful. The slightly bulbous body rests on a small, scalloped foot highlighted with gold, while the neck opens into a wide pouring spout with undulating contours. The scroll handle and the embossed ornaments accompanying the shoulder extend this rocaille inspiration. On the ivory porcelain, delicate polychrome floral bouquets unfurl, blending roses, tulips, and small florets in pink, red, blue, yellow, and violet hues. Fine gold accents highlight the neck, spout, handle, and foot, adding just the right amount of brilliance to the ensemble. This decoration is identical to that of other Schumann Arzberg pieces currently available in our selection, allowing for the gradual collection of several matching items. With a height of approximately 13 cm, this milk jug maintains a pleasant size to complement a coffee or tea set.
