A rare and sculptural "Sapporo" dining set consisting of a generously sized dining table and four matching dining chairs, designed by Mario Marenco for Mobilgirgi in the 1970s. This ensemble is a characteristic design of Italian postmodernism, combining powerful architecture with organic forms.
The massive, angled table legs and the softly rounded transitions of the construction are particularly striking, lending the table an elegant lightness despite its imposing appearance.
