Product description
A particularly beautiful Danish coffee table from the 1970s, crafted from warm teak with an inlaid natural slate top. The table features a stunningly powerful and architectural design. The construction of the legs is particularly remarkable: the wide legs appear to wrap around the solid wooden frame. Combined with the rounded corners, this gives the table a very recognizable Scandinavian character. The center of the tabletop is inlaid with various pieces of natural slate in grey, green, and earth tones. The stones are arranged in a geometric pattern and form a beautiful contrast with the warm color and grain of the teak. Furthermore, the combination of natural materials, heavy construction, and simple geometric forms gives the table a distinct Brutalist look. As a result, it pairs beautifully with both Scandinavian mid-century design and a more pronounced Brutalist interior. A high-quality and unusual piece of furniture with meticulous attention to wood joints and detailing. Origin: Denmark / Scandinavia
